It’s currently 1 AM and for some reason I thought I should get a head start on writing this post. With only 13 hours left until graduation, I just wanted to stop and look back on the last four years at Lawrence High School and thank everyone for helping me get to where I’m at today. *Note to the reader: If you’re looking to read about shirts, come back another day* And so, I hope you enjoy my pseudo-letter to all of you beautiful people.

Starting the brand a few months into freshmen year I honestly had no idea what I was doing or what the hell I even wanted out of starting something like this. Little by little, with the help of everyone that’s helped keep the brand running I’ve learned more than I ever thought I would’ve and figured out not only what I’d like out of the company, but what I’d like to do and where I’d like to go. I’ve made the best friends I’ve ever known, met people I otherwise wouldn’t have, and most important to me; shared the joy in what I like to do with everyone else.  It’s impossible to really convey how much I appreciate the massive amounts of support I’ve gotten over the last 4 years and the happiness it brings me to know that everyone finds a little bit of enjoyment in what I’ve created; it’s honestly one of the best feelings ever and something I will never stop appreciating from the Life Apparel family. I honestly don’t care how large this operation gets or how many orders start pouring in the future, but I’ll always appreciate sharing my enjoyment with others, whether it be through something as simple as a t-shirt or something like traversing a waterfall and soaking in the beauty of the earth together, Iron John. Like I’ve stated in a few recent posts rather than focus on products and all of that nonsense, this summer, for me and the company, is going to be all about The Escape. Sheer enjoyment and adventure is all that I’ll be focused on and I’m looking forward to sharing the experiences and good vibes with everyone on board! So thank you all and most importantly congratulations to my class of 2012! Together we’ve shared some of the best memories of our lives and probably taught each other a hell of a lot more than we’ve learned in class. I can’t wait to see everyone thrive in their post-high school careers, what we’ve accomplished these last 4 years is nothing compared to what we will in the future. I’d just like to let everyone and anyone know that I sincerely thank you all for contributing to the best 4 years of high school I could ever ask for and whether or not we cross paths in the future, I’ll always hold you all in a special place inside.

Also, for any underclassmen, or anyone in general really, my words of advice would be: Stop and smell the roses once in a while and try to find yourself somewhere in the process; Life’s too short to get caught up in all of the nonsense.

**Update** Just graduated, this is wild. Now that school’s over I can say this will probably be the last you hear from me for a bit. So the next time you see me I’ll probably be swinging from a vine or rafting the Lehigh River. Enjoy your summer folks, I know I will.
